Emily in Paris Season 4: Will Emily and Gabriel Finally Get Together?

The fourth season of Emily in Paris has arrived, and fans are eager to see if Emily (Lily Collins) and Chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) will finally admit their feelings for each other. Their on-and-off relationship has been a central theme, keeping viewers engaged with the show’s lighthearted feel and Emily’s exceptional style.

Despite the ups and downs in Emily’s life, her fashion choices remain impeccable, which raises questions about how she affords such a wardrobe on her salary in a small Paris apartment. While the series provided a welcome escape during the pandemic, the charm seems to have waned by season 4.

Season 4 starts with Emily and Alfie’s (Lucien Laviscount) breakup after Camille’s (Camille Razat) revelation in the season 3 finale about Emily and Gabriel’s lingering feelings. Alfie steps aside, but a campaign requiring him and Emily to kiss at Roland Garros complicates matters. Although Alfie participates, he ultimately reveals his heartbreak and ends their relationship. Meanwhile, Camille and Sofie reconcile.

As Emily focuses on helping Gabriel earn his first Michelin star, Camille informs Alfie that Emily and Gabriel are not together, prompting him to reconsider his decision. Just as Alfie learns this, Gabriel confesses his feelings to Emily once more. However, their budding romance faces a new challenge at the end of Part 1.

Beyond Emily’s storyline, Part 1 features a comedic subplot for Luc (Bruno Gouery), Mindy (Ashley Park) navigating relationship difficulties, and Sylvie (Philippine Leroy Beaulieu) standing up for herself in a #MeToo storyline.

While the show still has its charm, unless Part 2 introduces a compelling new plot, this season might be its last. Emily in Paris remains watchable, but the series seems to be retreading familiar territory for too long.
