On one hand Pakistan invited PM Modi, on the other hand Foreign Minister Jaishankar gave a final report on the relations
Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has delivered a decisive message to Pakistan, asserting that the window for dialogue has closed. While addressing Bangladesh's recent political shift, he emphasized India's readiness to engage with the new leadership.
Pakistan is set to host the SCO summit on October 15-16 in Islamabad, extending an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, in a sharp contrast, Foreign Minister Jaishankar reiterated today that the era of discussions with Pakistan has ended. His remarks were made during a book launch event in New Delhi.
Jaishankar further stressed that every issue has its time, and eventually, it reaches a conclusion. Referring to Jammu and Kashmir, he pointed out that the abrogation of Article 370 has settled the matter, leaving no further grounds for considering ties with Pakistan.
