The Chief Minister of Gujarat visited flood-affected areas, and the state has deployed officials to provide relief.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is visiting flood-affected areas of Jamnagar, Devbhoomi Dwarka, and Vadodara to assess the situation after extensive rainfall.
He is expected to travel by helicopter to Jamnagar first, where he will meet with local authorities to discuss the region’s situation.
After the meeting in Jamnagar, he will travel by helicopter to Khambhaliya at 5 PM. The area has experienced 944 mm of rainfall over the last five days, the highest in the state. He will meet with district officials to receive updates on the situation in Devbhoomi Dwarka and provide any necessary assistance.
Later in the evening, he is scheduled to return to Jamnagar and then travel to Vadodara for a review meeting regarding the ongoing relief efforts in Vadodara city and district. The Chief Minister will be accompanied by Chief Secretary Rajkumar during this visit.
