Mega Block on July 7, Central Railway Diverts and Cancels Trains
Central Railway of Mumbai Division has announced a "Mega Block" on its suburban sections on July 7, 2024, between Thane and Diva from 10:50 am to 03:20 pm for engineering and maintenance works.
Central Railway's Mumbai Division has scheduled a Mega Block on July 7 from 10:50 am to 03:20 pm to carry out essential engineering and maintenance work. During this period, several train services between Thane and Diva will be affected. DN fast and semi-fast local trains originating from Badlapur to Asangaon will be rerouted via the DOWN slow line, making additional stops at Kalva, Mumbra, and Diva stations.
Similarly, UP fast and semi-fast local trains from Ambernath to Badlapur will be diverted via the UP slow line, with extra stops at Diva, Mumbra, and Kalva stations. This rerouting is expected to cause delays of approximately 10 minutes beyond the scheduled arrival times. Additionally, UP Mail/Express trains passing through the UP Fast line between Kalyan and Thane stations will also experience delays of 10 to 15 minutes.
Several DOWN Mail/Express trains will be diverted via the DOWN Fast line between Thane and Kalyan stations, leading to similar delays. Moreover, due to the ongoing repair work, a number of MEMU and passenger train services have been cancelled or will terminate early. Specific details include MEMU no 01339 and 01341 from Vasai Road to Diva, which will terminate at Kopar station, and MEMU no 01340 and 01342 from Diva to Vasai Road, which will operate between Kopar and Vasai Road only. Additionally, MEMU no 50104 from Ratnagiri to Diva Fast Passenger will be terminated at Panvel station.
