Microsoft outage causes Frontier airlines to briefly ground all flights

Frontier Airlines stated that its flight operations were affected by the outage, leading to a temporary ground stop, according to a statement to Reuters.

On Thursday, Microsoft announced that it is investigating issues with multiple Azure services in the Central U.S. region. The issues include failures with service management operations and connectivity as well as availability of services.

Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines stated that its flight operations were impacted by the outage, prompting it to implement a temporary ground stop, as per a statement to Reuters.

"The ground stop has been lifted, and we are in the process of returning to normal operations."
