Ingridents
200 grams rice
1 tsp oil
1 sliced green chilli
1.5 cups water
1/4 tsp turmeric A pinch of hing
2.5 tbsp lemon juice Salt to taste
1⁄2 tsp chana, urad dal 10-12 curry leaves
1⁄2 tsp mustard seeds
2 tbsp peanuts
Step 1: Cook Rice
If you don't have cooked rice, pressure-cook soaked grains
on high heat. Let them cook off.
Step 2: Soak chana and urad dal for 15 minutes.
Step 3:
Heat oil in a kadhai and saute chana and urad dal along with mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilli, hing, and turmeric.
Step 4:
Add fluffed rice into the
kadhai and gently stir the ingredients.
Step 5:
Once rice is cooked with other ingredients, add lemon juice.
Step 6:
Turn off the flame after a minute and garnish with coriander leaves before digging in.
