A raid on a fake call centre in Islamabad, Pakistan, led to an unexpected heist by locals, who took whatever they could grab. The operation was allegedly run by Chinese nationals in Sector F-11 and was involved in fraudulent activities.
As the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) executed the raid on the illegally operated centre, locals rushed in to loot the premises. Videos circulating on social media show both young and older individuals seizing laptops, desktops, monitors, keyboards, extensions, and other items. Some even took furniture and cutlery, treating the situation as a free-for-all.
One social media user shared a video on X, stating, "Pakistanis have looted a call centre operated by Chinese in Islamabad; hundreds of laptops and electronic components, along with furniture and cutlery, were stolen during the holy month of Ramadan."
