Samantha’s cryptic message two weeks after Naga Chaitanya’s engagement leaves fans worried
Samantha Ruth Prabhu left her fans guessing with a cryptic post she shared days after her ex-husband and ‘Yeh Maaya Chesave’ co-star Naga Chaitanya’s engagement to actress Shobhita Dhulipala. Taking to Instagram, the ‘Yasoda’ star shared a post on love and friendship. Taking to Instagram, she penned a long post on how she ended up in relationships where she was made to sacrifice a lot, without any reciprocation.
She wrote, “A lot of people view friendships and relationships as reciprocal, and I agree. You give. I give. But over the years I've learned that sometimes love causes you to give even when the other person isn't in a position to give back. It goes from you give, I give—to I give until you're able to give back. And vice versa. Love is a sacrifice. Even if the balance tips for a season. Grateful for the people that still kept pouring even when I didn't have it to pour back."
On August 8, Naga Chaitanya became engaged to his girlfriend, actress Sobhita Dhulipala, after dating for nearly a year and a half. Naga Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna, was the first to share the news on X. He posted, "We are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m. We are ecstatic to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime filled with love and joy. God bless! 8.8.8. The beginning of endless love."
Chaitanya was previously married to Samantha. They dated for five years and were married for four. The estranged pair even starred in a few movies, such as ‘Yeh Maaya Chesave’, ‘Autonagar Surya’ and ‘Majili’. The duo called it quits in 2021 and issued a joint statement announcing their separation.
On the work front, Prabhu was last seen in the romantic drama ‘Kushi’ opposite Vijay Deverakonda. She will next feature in a film called ‘Bangaram’ as well as the Hindi adaptation of ‘Citadel’ opposite Varun Dhawan.
